Who is Science Jim/Jim Mueller Jim has a B.A from Lake Forest College with a specialization in Biology. He also has a M.S. from Aurora University specializing in environmental and museum education. He has worked at a variety of nature centers as a environmental educator from 1989 to 1994. For the next eight years, he worked at a small children’s science museum in Carbondale, Illinois. Six of those years as the executive director. During these experiences, Jim has created and led hundreds of programs and taught thousands of children. The classes he's led have ranged from groundhogs to Einstein and from maple syrup to thermodynamics. "Over the years, I have discovered that there is little I enjoy more than teaching. I really find great satisfaction in providing people of all ages with knowledge and understanding. Science is my favorite subject to teach because it, in my opinion, is the best way to encourage a sense of reverence for this amazing world." | |||||||||
